Maritime London Officer Cadet Scholarship
In 1992, whilst at Lloyd’s, Jonathan Jones created what is now known as the Maritime London Officer Cadet Scholarship, a Scholarship of which he is still proudly a Trustee.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Scholarship. It is unique in the world, because Officer Cadets are trained by Underwriters. The Scholarship aims to help raise the profile of the importance of well trained and educated seafarers to the insurance industry.
The Scholarship is proudly supported by Lloyd’s Register, P&I Clubs and BMT.
